Anyone looking for ways to eat healthier, save money on food and reduce stress is welcome to attend Healthy Meals in a Hurry with Katie Knobbe, ISU Extension & Outreach nutrition and wellness specialist. All who attend will leave with one freezer-ready meal for her or his family and a lot of good information.
The program will be held Thursday, Feb. 16, from 5:30 to 7 pm at Central Christian Church in Jefferson. Participants will learn how to plan for quick healthy meals and stock their pantry staples. Cost is $15 and registration deadline is Feb. 13. Healthy Meals in a Hurry is designed to help consumers of all ages blend time-saving convenience with nutritious, dollar-stretching food choices.
